A highly accomplished veteran, Rich Farley served in the United States Air Force for 27 years, contributing to combat rescue operations and special operations as a Special Missions Aviator. He later transitioned to the role of Bio-Medical Science Officer, specializing in Aerospace and Operational Physiology. Rich's military experience encompasses leadership in High Reliability/High-Risk operations, Risk Management/Analysis, Human and Organizational Performance optimization, and Human Factors analysis.

Academic Experience:

As an esteemed adjunct professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for over 8 years, Rich has shared his expertise in the field of Human Performance. He has taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, guiding students in understanding and applying the principles of Human Factors. Additionally, Rich has served as the Principal Human Factors Consultant for various military and commercial Class-A Aviation and Occupational mishaps, providing invaluable insights and recommendations.

Professional Achievements:

Rich holds a Master of Science degree in Aviation Human Factors, equipping him with a deep understanding of the factors influencing human performance in aviation settings. He also possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Instructional Systems Design and Workforce Development. With over 2300 flight hours in both rotary wing (rescue/special operations) and fixed-wing (fighter) aircraft, Rich's practical experience further enhances his expertise. He is highly regarded for his deliberate development of individuals and organizations, consistently fostering growth and excellence.
