Offshore Drilling Management:

Melissa Craft has spent over 12 years in the petroleum industry, honing her skills as a mentor, leader, and instructor. Her work spanned across several areas, including Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, Data & Reporting, KPI's, and Offshore and Onshore Operations. After surviving a plane crash and recovering from the trauma, Melissa left the petroleum industry to pursue her passion for ministry. She currently leads a 501c3 non-profit organization that serves veterans and first responders affected by Post Traumatic Stress.

Petroleum Industry Experience

Melissa's extensive experience in the petroleum industry includes various leadership roles, such as Compliance and Regulatory Affairs in Offshore, supporting Production Operations with Asset Integrity and Regulatory compliant processes and procedures, Drilling & Completions for Work Orders and Action Items, Construction (Greenfield & Brownfield Projects), and HRIS build and implementation for LMS systems. She also worked on Health & Safety (HSE) metrics & lessons learned and Emergency Response on the Doc-L Team for Anadarko spill drills.

 

Passion for Ministry

Melissa's journey led her to pursue her passion for ministry. In 2021, she launched a 501c3 non-profit organization serving Veterans and First Responders impacted by Post Traumatic Stress. She has dedicated herself to serving Christ through her Leadership and attendance of Bible Studies, Volunteering for Non-Profit organizations, online teachings, and doing independent crusade evangelism by praying and mentoring those less fortunate in need of hope.

Personal Life and Achievements

Melissa signed early as a college pitcher out of High School and enjoyed every minute of her time on the mound and 1st base at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus in Marketing and Minor in Psychology from The University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and a Master’s degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from The University of Colorado Theological Seminary. Melissa finished her RBLP-T Training and will be implementing this Resilience Building Training into her Veteran and First Responder work. She will be starting her Doctorate study mid-2022. Melissa is a loving mother of two and is currently raising her children to experience the healing power, friendship, responsibility, self-awareness, connection, and joy that horses bring through Equine Therapy.
